Crisp autumn air, paired with your favorite celebrity chefs, equals the perfect recipe for the ultimate food, wine, and spirits experience on the high seas. Gliding through picturesque harbors, engage with world-class chefs through cooking demonstrations, curated dining, culinary conversations, and fun! Savor local flavors and experience the region's culinary culture first-hand with stops in Portland, Maine, and Saint John, New Brunswick. There truly isn’t a better way for a foodie to relish fall!
Restaurant Takeovers
Make reservations to dine at your favorite chef's pop-up restaurant! Celebrity Chefs take over the restaurants aboard Norwegian Gem, and each restaurant will be paired with a celebrity chef (or chefs). These restaurants will be open nightly for dinner service and each will have their own specially curated menu, with multiple course options.
Each cabin will have the opportunity to make a select number of reservations before sailing, and then have the option to make additional reservations on board.
Please note: There is a potential for shared seating with other Chefs Making Waves cruisers based on party size and table availability. Each cabin will not have the opportunity to dine at all pop-up restaurants during our four-night sailing.

Experience a unique twist on the traditional dance party! Slide on your LED headphones, choose the channel with the music you want to groove to, and dance the night away to your own beat.
The headphones are plentiful, you'll grab one at the door, and you're set!

Enjoy delicious Bloody Mary cocktails while you poke your way to exciting prizes. It's the perfect mix of fun, drinks, and friendly competition!

Wellness Opportunities
There will be several wellness opportunities aboard Chefs Making Waves. Each will be designed to rejuvenate and invigorate you during your time on the high seas.
These will be show-up experiences, so there's no need to register in advance
Theme nights are our equivalent of the ultimate costume party! Go all in with full costumes or keep it simple with a few pieces of flair, it's totally up to you! Theme nights are optional, but it's way more fun if you join in.
End Zone Extravaganza
Bring the excitement of game day to life! Show off your favorite sports team, like they’re playing in prime time on the Pool Deck. Pack jerseys, facepaint, pompoms, whatever you’d sport to share your pride. Go Team!
Fall Fest
Autumn vibes and festive fun collide with harvest decor and seasonal sips. Dress in costume for a Halloween twist or simply embrace fall fashion with sweaters, flannels, and scarves. Let’s gather to celebrate the season!
